J. Cole Miami Gardens Concert reviews
Disappointed. Production is key!
"I enjoyed that she performed all of her classics, but I was disappointed in the production. The camera man sucked, and this severely impacted my experience. J. Cole's voice was like butter, and I love that she performed all of her classics. We were seated in section 223, which is a direct view of the stage, but I couldn't see her. For me, the whole production is more than the artist—it's the background singers, stage design, effects, cameraman, etc. Normally, if the seats aren't close, the screens displayed in the venue are zoomed into the artist so that you can see them. I've been to many shows, and this was not the case. I wouldn't recommend the venue, but I'd be willing to see Badu somewhere else."
